The Project Overview

I'm currently working on mapping out the locations in which species are located within my state (NJ). I am doing this for the following reasons:

-To make it easier for collection and study of individual species
-To monitor variations within a species from location to location
-To monitor the spread of or decline of invasive species
-To monitor the increase or decrease of native species
-To monitor for the spread of WSSV and Crayfish Plague outside of reported locations

The more I progress with my mapping, I'll start posting up my maps and findings in the New Jersey Maps post. I encourage anyone who is interested in a similar project to do the same, we can amass maps and findings from different states and countries.
